I was thinking today about how ones perception of another person is played out through a series of signals. Are we in control of these? Are we preempting these actions? Is this based on a series of previously understood performances. This we could understand within the social construct of any given landscape in which we place an assumption? Relate that to portraits, muses and gazes.
